Wrath got it pretty much correct. I'll direct your attention to this thread, and then state that the change was mostly to keep the forums cleaner, easier to moderate, and easier to browse. It's also part of a larger plan we have for Sardelac, but those cogs are still in the foundry at the moment.

The side-effects of more punctuation in OTA are just... funny side-effects.

Well, you have to remember that this is a Guild Wars forum. So naturally, more focus is placed on things related to Guild Wars. Not that Off-Topic is bad, it's just that it will never be the most important part of this forum to us

I built a SCSI array into my desktop by mating a Compaq Proliant, and Adaptec card I tricked a friend out of, and my Lian-Li PC60.

GOT for Christmas, nothing but two books from Kailynn and socks from my mother, and tools from the kids, but next week I'm getting the parts to finish off this array here, and rebuild my server to SMP (and possibly make SFK a dedicated TS server in my closet) and other great goodies...

I do know I'll end up with a machine to design in CAD on. That's gonna be great.

Oh you might be making our guild a dedicated TS server? That would be pretty cool! You need to pop into our TS Server sometime. Shiera, Atilia, Stan, Char, and myself, usually are in talking to each other. Pop in sometime its a blast!
